How to Help

If you want to help with our cause you can! We would love to work with you to help those in need. Just fill out the form under the volunteer section below. If you can not donate your time but still wish to help we accept monetary donations as well. Just follow the instructions under the donation section below.

If you are 60 or older and currently do not need our services we still need you. We need you to make a commitment  to eat at one of our meal sites once a month, or maybe once a week, or what ever works into your schedule. For ever frail senior that we serve, we need 3 independent and health seniors to participate in the meal program to keep the program running strong and healthy. Please say you will help!

Volunteer

Aging Projects, Inc. volunteers are the backbone of our organization. Aging Projects, Inc. could not do what it does without these wonderful individuals. Over the years their names and faces have changed, but not their dedication to meeting the needs of the individual participant. Our oldest volunteer was 101 years old. He volunteered very day, he said it kept him young. Our youngest volunteer was 3. He would come every day and draw a picture on the placemat for each of the seniors that would be eating at the center that day. He is now in school and the seniors miss seeing him each day. We have a volunteer in our Howard site that has been volunteering every day since 1977. Her dedication has helped to make our Howard meal site such a success. Our agency can never express our gratitude enough for the dedicated work that is done every day by all these caring individuals.

What they do

 

Aging Projects, Inc. uses volunteers in every aspect of our organization. From servers, greeters, drivers to even help in our offices. We try and match up the volunteers’ strength to positions in our organization. We always welcome new volunteers. Everyone is welcome.

Make a Donation

Aging Projects, Inc. is a 501(c)3 corporation. Approximately 60% of our budget depends upon donations. All donations are tax deductible.

You can designate a specific community that you want your donation to help, or just leave open and it will be used for the entire program.

There are currently 3 ways to donate.

1. You can give to your local site directly

2. Click the donate button in the upper right corner (Note: The donate button goes through Paypal. You do not need a Paypal account to donate)

3. Send a check or money order to our main office at 112 W Sherman, Hutchinson, KS 67501
